Level 1 Fire Safety Awareness

Service Description

The qualification and learning outcomes are based on: National Occupational Standards (NOS) related to fire safety awareness Recommendation of good practice outlined by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness (RQF) is designed as an introductory qualification for people who want to increase their awareness of fire safety in the workplace. Over a half day period, learners will cover basic fire safety principles, including: causes of fires in the workplace, basic fire safety duties and responsibilities, principles of fire risk control, safe use of portable fire-fighting equipment and more.
